I am a finance and governance professional with more than 15 years of experience across international organisations, nonprofits and commercial businesses. My background combines financial leadership, hands-on financial control, advisory work and audit experience with KPMG and Baker Tilly. I help organisations build confidence in their financial information, strengthen accountability and turn analysis into practical decisions.
My expertise includes financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, management reporting, multi-entity consolidation support, intercompany reconciliations and month-end and year-end close. I develop planning models connecting revenue, staffing and operating costs to financial outcomes, explain performance variances and work with leadership and budget holders to identify priorities and corrective actions.
At World Vision International, I supported consolidated reporting and financial control across approximately US$310 million in annual multi-fund activity spanning 72 countries and more than 70 field offices. I helped strengthen balance-sheet review and close routines, reducing month-end close from 12 to seven days. At Iron & Earth, I led finance and operations for a C$18 million nonprofit portfolio, supporting liquidity management, budget oversight and organisational decision-making.
Through Cutting Edge Finance Advisory, I support organisations with financial management, governance and systems improvement. Recent work includes financial-management diagnostics and ERP requirements and evaluation support for Sweden’s Raoul Wallenberg Institute; tailored finance procedures and controls through Thomson Reuters Foundation-supported engagements; and multi-entity reporting, operating-profit analysis and financial planning for Metronomics.
I also bring experience in internal controls, risk assessment, audit readiness, donor and restricted-fund reporting, grant oversight and finance policy development. My systems experience includes Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT, QuickBooks Online, SAP Concur and advanced Excel-based financial modelling.
I work collaboratively with geographically dispersed teams, combining attention to detail with clear communication and an understanding of operational constraints. My approach is to establish reliable information, clarify ownership and help teams build processes they can sustain.
