Senior BA & Data Consultant, Data Governance, Agile

Supporting Data Governance team to create a firm-wide structure within Collibra, to help create, organise and maintain Data
Governance Framework throughout the business as well as management of technical and business definitions, responsibilities
included;
* Running working groups with the aim to agree definitions, across business areas, for both technical and business data
assets
* Creation of ongoing management process of the Collibra
* Creation of a populated Data Dictionary across various legacy systems
* Review and documentation of management approach with suggestions for improvement
* Creation, implementation and maintenance of Data Governance Framework, Data Lineage & Collibra Governance Policy
* Assist in the upgrade process from a previous version of Collibra
* Producing KPI reports on a weekly basis, in aid of various Steering Committee's

FS Data & Analytics within Banking & Capital Markets, specialising in data analytics and mining, data management, data
assurance and visualisation to help large, global financial services clients (including Morgan Stanley & Bank of East Asia),
responsibilities included;
* Creation, implementation and maintenance of programme/project plans
* PMO activities for global programmes, projects & specific work streams
* Hosting & facilitating client workshops with senior stakeholders
* Day-to-day programme & project management, senior stakeholder management, financial management (budget
tracking), risk & issue management, project reporting
* Team management of junior consultants within the department and various engagement teams
* Creation of client proposal documentation and presentations to convert client interest into sales
* Conducting Data Protection and Management maturity/readiness assessments with key client stakeholders
* Creation of remediation reports for clients and creation/review of data privacy policies
* Conducting GDPR audits for clients using PwC controls framework/library
* Creation of GDPR Internal Audit Control Framework
* SME for Internal Audit GDPR projects for clients
* Client advisory support for data strategy, data management, data governance, data privacy engagements
* Management and creation of deliverables whilst maintaining first-class client service throughout the engagement
* Creation of various GDPR artefacts and conducting workshops to populate e.g. DPIAs, system inventories, data
taxonomies, information asset registers, Record of Data Processing and data process maps

Completing internal audit actions around Data Governance and creation of bank wide Data Governance policies:
* Conducting interviews within different business areas
* Completing a Gap Analysis document to highlight gaps between agreed actions and current state
* Fact finding activities to discover data assets, links between assets and report dependencies
* Creation of Data Assets Map
* Collation of data to create and publish Data Governance Framework policies
* Establishing and instigating regular Data Management meetings, from ExCo down to Senior Analyst level
