Project history
Phase 1: Migration (Massachusetts sites) from legacy to SAP S/4 HANA (AWS cloud) platform; scope includes finance, sales & distribution, service management, procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, and quality management.
Provide project management leadership; meet and coordinate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements, scope and technology feasibility. Review and update project plans to ensure successful implementation, including key activities and appropriate availability of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project. Use appropriate verification techniques to track and measure project performance.
Provide functional/technical leadership to Inventory Management and EWM workstreams – plan and lead testing of solutions, develop/update business process flows, test scenarios/scripts, and support documentation. Train users for all sites.
Phase 2: Rollout of S/4 HANA solution to California, Netherland and Japan; migration from MAPICS.
Business lead for inventory & warehouse management, with heavy interactions with other functional areas including sales, finance, manufacturing, and quality management. Update to-be process flows to fit business requirements. Plan and execute sprint testing in collaboration with EWM consultant and key end-users. Test entire EWM solution to ensure it meets business requirements. Develop test scripts for all test phases. Develop and update end-user support and training documentation. Plan and conduct all end-user training.
Project 1: Enable the sales & distribution of products and services to China and Hong Kong through the extension of SAP ERP and other related applications
Plan and facilitate workshops/meetings between US team and China users. Track and manage action items, facilitate meetings for resolution and closure. Provide Chinese→English (and vice versa) translations as required.
Develop and maintain project schedule and detail plan. Track progress and update plan accordingly. Identify and maintain risks/issues and highlight to management as necessary.
Work closely with validation lead to ensure GxP compliance. Lead the review and update of validation documents (with business leads and validation teams).
Lead business team in the preparation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Department Operating Procedure (DOP), Work Instructions (WI), and training material.
Lead the planning and preparation of testing and training, involving business & IT teams, and China users.
Project 1: Implementation of a new COTS ERP (MS Dynamics NAV) system; scope includes procurement, supply chain, inventory management, quality, and manufacturing
ERP: Microsoft Dynamics NAV with ProBatch Add-on (GMP, manufacturing)
Project 2: Implementation of a digital document repository system for corporate legal teams

Create and establish baseline templates for PMO (project management office). Review and update business applications roadmap with key business leads.
Develop business case for ERP implementation. Establish project charter, identify business sponsors and secure approval for scope, schedule, and budget. Establish tools to track project financials. Publish change management process and establish regular updates and reviews with sponsors.
Working with sponsors and vendors, establish and agree on roles & responsibility of each partner in the project. Review SOW from vendors, work with legal department to ensure compliance with company policies. Incorporate project activities from vendors into overall project plan. Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary.
Develop strategy and detail plan to establish system landscape (DEV, TEST, QA, Production) and infrastructure required for GxP compliance. Work with external vendors to establish detail project tasks and schedule.
Plan and co-ordinate kickoff meetings, requirements and design workshops, in collaboration with key implementation partner. Oversee, guide and influence partner in the development of overall solution. Develop test strategy, test plans, and participate in testing. Provide overall leadership in issue analysis and resolution. Lead the development of training material in preparation for UAT (user acceptance testing) and end-user training.
