• Prepare Organizational Unit for ASPCIE Certification from Capability Level 0 to Capability Level 1/2 /3

• Develop Quality Culture in Organization by Defining Processes & Implementing best Practises for Organizational Unit
• Perform Gap Analysis to Identify Gaps with Respect to ASPICE Standards
• Perform AS-IS Analysis of Existing Process
• Define Organizational Process as per standards (ASPCIE/ CMMI) and create foundation for successful implementation of Functional Safety-ISO26262 & Cyber Security-ISO 21434

Role Description:
* Definition of Process:
* Perform Gap Analysis of as is processes with ASPICE Standards and report gaps to Quality Director
& entire Management to make decisions on ASPCIE Implementation
* Lead a working group for definition of processes as per Automotive SPICE standards for Level 3
Automotive SPICE certification for Automotive department
* Create Plan of activities, schedule, estimation and team requirement for working group for creating
QMS as per ASPICE
* Include right stakeholders for definition, review and approval of processes
* Monitor, control and report status of Working group to higher management regularly
* Involved in working group for definition of processes as per IATF 16949 & Integration of ASPICE
* Train Project team members on ASPICE & organizational processes
* Define Processes in web-based Process management tool- Callis for easy definition, communication
and maintenance of process and process assets.
* Create process diagrams in Microsoft Visio
* Implement new/ updated processes in the project
* Supplier Monitoring:
* Supplier capability assessment as per Automotive SPICE Standards
* Definition of Quality criteria and acceptance Criteria of customer deliverables
* Review Supplier's performance and deliverables against commitments
* Monitor and Control and report to higher management




* Perform Audits on Suppliers Processes to highlight areas of Risk, strengths and area of
improvement
* Acceptance of deliverables by ensuring the criteria that was defined for delivery milestone has
been met
* Project and product Qualification:
* Create and maintain a quality plan for department
* Define Qualification criteria and Quality goals for the product
* Perform process compliance checks on project
* Perform product qualification checks
* Create Quality report with current status, risks, red alerts, etc.
* Decide on release Go/ No-go based on the Qualification criteria
* Conduct root cause analysis
* Perform internal Audits on other projects
* Conduct retrospection meetings

Role Description:
Project involved preparing (Hybrid, Chassis) Organizational units of JLR for ASPICE Certification from Level 0 of
ASPCIE to Level 3 of ASPICE & get assessment done from External Assessor. These 2 Organizational Units of JLR
were successful to get ASPCIE Level 3 certification in the year 2015. This project was done in a very short span of
time with strict timelines.
In the entire duration of my work with JLR I was involved with all the activities of preparation, assessment &
certification of ASPICE and after certification I have successfully completed 2 cycles of ASPCIE Surveillance Audits
for the same Organizational Units.

Detailed roles and Responsibilities are as given below:
* Management:
* Plan activities and milestones in the department
* Create Quality plan, release plan, schedule
* Bridge communication gap between offshore team, onsite team and customers
* Create Sprint backlog, sprint plan, release plan
* Estimate efforts
* Plan resources
* Create Microsoft project plan (mpp.)
* Get project plan and timelines approved by management and Customer
* Monitor Progress as per Plan
* Create Status reports
* Communicate Status to higher Management regularly
* Identify and manage Risks/ red alerts/ Issues
* Technical:
* Gap analysis as per ASPICE Standards
* Recommend tailored solution to the gaps
* Prepare department for Automotive SPICE assessment and achieve Level 3 Automotive SPICE
certification
* Involved in Automotive SPICE surveillance assessments




* Develop hierarchy of Project management in projects
* Implement Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in department
* Define Process and develop Quality management System (QMS)
* Train team members on process updates or new processes
* Definition, training and implementation of entire process for project management, change
management, problem management, metrics management, risk management, supplier
management, configuration management, etc.
* Provide tailored solution, re-define, train and implementation of engineering processes
Requirements management, design, Matlab and Simulink models, Auto-coding, Coding, etc.
* Definition, training and implementation of entire validation and verification process
* Create process flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio
* QMS development in Eclipse process framework
* Plan and conduct supplier process audits and Internal Audits
