Project history
Designed and built a unified Snowflake-based data platform collecting data from 6+ ERP systems: SAP S/4HANA, AS/400, EP21, Oracle, RHFM. Responsible for data quality, object modelling and Power BI reporting. Daily communication with North American stakeholders. Reporting cycles reduced from months of manual consolidation to a few hours. Stack: Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, SAP S/4HANA, EP21, Oracle, AS/400, RHFM, SQL.
Designed a unified multi-tenant architecture inside a single Azure Databricks workspace with strict customer-level data isolation. Redistributed compute workloads to eliminate idle clusters, standardised storage, secrets and deployment, and introduced a governance framework. Reduced infrastructure cost from 120,000 EUR to 50,000 EUR per month, a 58% saving of over 1M EUR per year, with faster customer onboarding and no loss of data isolation. Stack: Azure Databricks, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, PostgreSQL, Row-Level Security.
Built enterprise-grade Row-Level Security with tenant-level isolation inside shared Power BI dashboards on a SQL Server data layer.
