PIPING DESIGN & DIGITAL DELIVERABLES
Industrial piping engineering experience since 2001. Hands-on design of process and utility piping, equipment interconnections and pipe supports. Preparation of 3D models, piping and equipment layouts, general arrangements, sections, isometric drawings, support layouts and details, MTO/BOM, line lists and valve lists. Independent execution of piping design tasks with interdisciplinary coordination.
CAD & ENGINEERING SOFTWARE
CADWorx Plant: 3D industrial piping modelling. AutoCAD and BricsCAD: engineering drawings and documentation. CAESAR II and ROHR2: piping stress and flexibility analysis, thermal displacement, support reactions and equipment nozzle loads. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint: engineering documentation, reporting and presentations.
TECHNICAL SCOPE & STANDARDS
Piping layout; equipment layout; P&ID interpretation; piping specifications and classes; material and component selection; pipe supports; isometrics; material take-offs. EN 13480 for piping stress/flexibility analysis. Review of vendor documentation and coordination with process, mechanical and civil/structural disciplines. Technical audits of oilfield facilities.
INDUSTRIES & PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Oil and gas processing, chemical facilities and energy. Boiler plants; steam and hot-water systems; pumping stations; tank farms; pipe racks; CNG facilities; biomethane grid injection; LNG regasification; compressor and pressure reduction units. Earlier projects include gas treatment, refinery hydrocracking and polymer dispersion plant reconstruction.
WORK PREFERENCES
Based in Estonia (EU). Remote freelance/B2B assignments and permanent remote employment, available from 1 November 2026. Short project visits by separate agreement. Open to Piping Engineer, Piping Design Engineer, Piping Designer / 3D Piping Designer.
