CV - Lucia Medina

I am project manager, with a strong focus in agile practices, who ambitions to work in engineering-based companies. With masters in telecommunications engineering and management, alongside my strong communications skills, I seek to enable technical teams to become more productive and organised, as well as advocating for change management.

Telco Experience:
  • In Telefonica Spain, my focus has been in working as a Project Manager for the project Aura, Telefonica's own AI, for the different European headquarters (Spain, Germany and UK). Tools and technologies used: MS Project, Redmine, Confluence, Jira, MS Bot Framework
  • In Telefonica Germany, I acted as the Aura's technical team's Scrum Master, made up of 8 senior developers. I coordinated their work packages via the tool Gitlab, was in charge of implementing Agile-based processes and started using and configuring cloud services, such as AWS, Azure and Cloudhealth, a reporting tool, and CICD pipelines
Consumer Electronics Experience:
  • At BQ, my focus was being a Firmware Delivery Manager, tasked with tailoring Android custom software for the companies smartphones and tablets. This involved coordinating multiple software releases and supervising the entire software developing cycle: from coding, to testing, validation, certification and, as a last step, maintenance.  My main working tools were Jira, Confluence, Android Partners Software and Jenkins
  • At Bragi I was the Project Manager of the Headphone, a mass-produced wireless headphone.  As a project manager of a consumer electronics device, not only I was responsible for the firmware-side of the project, but also the hardware part and the manufacturing part. This led me to travel to China and supervise ramp-up processes in the assembly line, or travel to the US to a certification agency.
