Project Coordination on Migration

•Ensure compliance with IOM’s internal regulations related to Movement Operations
•Input data and supervise cases in the operating systems of IOM•#Use of the Global Amadeus distribution system, for the management of air reservations
•Search for new donors to increase movement operations of the Travel Assistance Programme
•Reception, follow-up and monitoring of cases: AVRR, AVR, Repatriations, Medical cases, Resettlement, Migrants in situations of vulnerability and Family Reunification
•Support in the process of health assessment, pre-departure orientation, post-arrival orientation, travel arrangements, transport coordination and reception in the framework of the Emerging Resettlement Countries Joint Support Mechanism
•Prepare trainings in Chile in close coordination with the Resettlement and Movement Management Division to Operation’s Staff in the region to strength their capacities
•Provide advice to the Resettlement and Movement Management Division in the negotiation of new global agreements
with airlines in the region•#Prepare reports and statistics to the Chief of Mission as requested
•In close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provide assistance to the reception and required paperwork to Chileans traveling to their country of origin in the framework of humanitarian assistance
•Ensure a good implementation of the RMRP through monitoring reports to the Chief of Mission
•Support the Programme Implementation Team to develop guidelines in the framework of the RMRP
•Support the RMRP Project Coordinator to develop and review budgets, implement appropriate activities and create relevant supporting documents for donors
•Prepare the Leveraging Visa Operations Best Practices Seminar in close coordination with the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship of Canada and the Embassy of Australia in Chile to develop and ensure an efficient project implementation
•Support missions in the implementation of Resettlement Programmes
