Hello!

I’m a fresh graduate in Applied Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest, with hands-on experience in finance, data analysis, and process improvement. My most recent role was as an Actuarial Analyst at AON Hungary, where I worked on occupational pension schemes on the German market. I analysed and prepared datasets in Excel, performed provision calculations using dedicated actuarial software, and prepared reports in line with IFRS, US GAAP, and German GAAP standards. I also briefly contributed to a data migration project. This experience gave me a strong understanding of financial analysis, compliance, and teamwork.

At my longest internship, I worked as a Business Intelligence Intern at Jenbacher Gas Engines Hungary, where I created monthly KPI reports for various departments using Excel and Power BI, managed large databases with Power Query, Power Pivot, and SQL, and supported process improvement projects. I even had the opportunity to explore tools like Microsoft Power Apps and UiPath, which sparked my interest in automation and efficiency. I also supported the accounts payable and billing teams when low on main tasks.

Besides these, I worked at MOL Group, where I was a Project Support Intern, working with the rail and barge capacity management teams, mainly confirming invoices in SAP ERP and preparing some KPI reports. And earlier in my career, at Howden Hungary, I handled accounts receivable tasks, some basic bookkeeping, and customer communications in English, which improved my organizational and communication skills.

Other than these, I also worked at a small Hungarian company for more than two years, mainly doing data entry in Excel, and then cleaning and transforming said data to meet the requirements for a web shop database.

Over time, I’ve developed a solid technical foundation: I’m very comfortable with most MS Office products and have a growing proficiency in Python and SQL, having used the former for most of my thesis, and started exploring other programming languages as well in my spare time.

Throughout these roles, I’ve learned how to analyse complex data, identify trends, and propose solutions. I thrive when I can take complex information, break it down, and turn it into something actionable and clear. I’m also adaptable and constantly looking to improve myself, whether that’s learning new tools or tackling new challenges.

Currently, I’m seeking freelance opportunities to stay engaged and apply my skills while continuing my search for a full-time position. I aim to stay active, broaden my professional exposure, and contribute to different teams and clients until I secure a long-term role.
