Until now, I nearly have 9 years of professional experience as a design and analysis engineer. Today, I am working on Turkey’s first fighter jet project which is the 5th generation stealth fighter requiring complex engineering.
Throughout my career, I got the opportunity to work as a design engineer in R&D departments in many sectors such as heavy machinery (tower cranes), household appliances- white goods and aviation/aerospace industry. As I have worked in these different sectors, I improved myself in design, analysis and manufacturing by considering various disciplines which allowed me to look at engineering cases from wide angle perspectives.
Some of the major recent projects that I have participated in are; Designing the main architectural layout from surface generation to the design of 3D structural parts in Turkish fighter jet project. Design of airframe structural elements that serve as main load paths along the aircraft carcass located in forward center fuselage section. My duties include surface design, 3D part design of metallic and composite parts, GD&T studies, fastener selection, specifying processes required for the manufacturing of the designed part, sub assembly creation and technical documentation.
