Michiel is a lead consultant in SAP Business Intelligence, an expert in data analytics with very strong skills in designing reporting solutions and planning applications. He has 15+ years of experience in the design, implementation and support of SAP data analytics solutions in small and large multinational organizations. He has industry experience in aviation, banking, chemicals, dairy, energy, fast moving consumer goods, healthcare, manufacturing, media, mining, public sector, utilities and wholesale.
During multiple full cycle BI implementations, roll-outs and system upgrades he has been active in roles as project manager, architect, subject matter expert, lead design consultant, team lead and coordinator. He has experience working in an Agile project environment.
The combination of process knowledge and strong technical skills allows him to translate and conceptualize business requirements into sustainable solutions. His strong communication skills, both verbal and written, allow him to effectively work with people on different levels - from programmers to senior management, in IT organization and the business – and in multicultural environments. He has the ability to translate technology into business language and vice-versa. He is used to work in large complex project environments that require engagement and management of multiple stakeholders.
