Managing HSE for North Oman

Saih Rawl CPP, KDC, Kauther phase two and currently Lekhwair gas plant LGP) Responsibilities include: To manage HSE section at site and provide support to the Head of construction Gas Department; Operations, Engineering and associated departments and contractors on HSE issues for the continuing HSE performance improvement. * Creating HSE plans and monitoring the implementation of HSE plans for client and for contractors. * Provide reports to GGS and other parties. * Assist Contract Site Representative (CSR) during Contractor HSE assessments. * Provide guidance to the line and contractors on matters of HSE in the field. * Assist the line with the interpretation of regulations and standards. * Chairing the HSE meetings, workshops, and drivers' forums. * Publish and distribute HSE alerts. * Attend and support operation Station Inspections. To ensure that the Inspections are properly documented, are undertaken as per the agreed guidelines. * Assist the Operations Dept in up keeping the implementation of Permit to Work System. * Monitoring annual HSE & SD tasks and targets and ensures compliance. * Conduct spot checks, assist and guide line in road safety measures to prevent road incident. * Assist in close out action items. * Support HSE training. Monitoring the training matrix. * STOP analysis, training and close actions. * Site Incident Review committee. * Lead audits, inspections of all facilities; Camp hygiene, industrial yards and workshops etc..

Responsibilities include: To ensure Operations Area Teams and associated departments and contractors are provided with adequate HSE support and advice in order to continuously improve the Area. HSE performance and to assist the line in making HSE an integrated part of the day to day business * Produce specific HSE plans. * Provide monthly reports. * Provide guidance to the line and contractors on matters of HSE in the field. * Assist the line with the interpretation of regulations and standards * Chairing the monthly Area HSSE meetings * Publish HSE alerts. * Attend Station Inspections undertaken in the area. Ensure that the Inspections are properly documented, are undertaken as per the agreed guidelines. * Assist the Operations Dept in up keeping the implementation of Permit to Work System. * Prepare annual Occupational Health tasks and targets and ensure compliance by the line. * Conduct spot checks, use the monitoring survey reports, assist and guide line in road safety measures to prevent road incident. * Run the drivers forum. * Maintain the Area HSE plan * Assist in close out of Track HSE items. * Provide HSE support during Emergencies * Support HSE training in the area
