supporting that with fields visits to universities, public charities, government institutes and
corporate customers to explain how people can use and benefit from the new Internet Service.
* Highly involved on publishing awareness of the new internet service's usage and benefits through
TV and Radio interviews and meeting journalists and writing in the local newspapers and magazines.
* Contributed on the designing of a new TeleYemen logo which replaced the old one which was also

* Creating communication program that interfaces electronic telex machines with personal computer
through RS323 port to enable telex customers to directly transfer lists of spare parts or
purchasing orders from their PCs to their telex machines out to their suppliers in the required
destinations.
* Successfully connect Yemen bank Hodeidah with its banker in London UK to enable it to check its
accounts and transactions statues in its banker system through a voice modem and telephone line
with IDD facilities.
* Creating special software applications using "Dbase 3" data base program to monitor and control
the branch inventory, stock ordering and branch staff profiles.
* Programming Sweda Cash Registers (Cash-Tills) to cope with branch services sales. Sweda Cash
Registers were ordered by Hodeidah branch, programmed and delivered to all C&W branches in Yemen
and were used to handle services sales till a new billing system and computer cash-tills were
introduced.

branch including Telex Exchange, Mitel Super Switch, TDMs, leased line Modems and other
apparatuses in the office.
* Installing and Programming new branch Mitel Super Switch (PBX) used to handle International
