MS electronics engineer with nearly 20 years of experience across embedded systems, industrial automation and IIoT, from low-level firmware and hardware bring-up through real-time control, protocol integration, and business app / cloud architecture.

Founder of Phasis Engineering, an embedded systems, industrial automation and IIoT consultancy.

Previously co-founded and led Octavic, a MES/MOM product company serving major pharma and food&bev. manufacturers.

Prior to that, worked in embedded systems development for industrial instrumentation in compressed air management and measurement in pharma, food & bev. and medical applications.

Current focus areas:
• PLC ecosystem expansion: TwinCAT 3 (Beckhoff) OPC UA, Profinet, IO-Link, Modbus, ADS integration via PyADS; PLCnext (Phoenix Contact)
• IIoT deployments using MQTT, LoRaWAN sensors and gateways, and Docker-orchestrated
stacks (ChirpStack, Mosquitto, InfluxDB, Telegraf, Grafana, Loki)
• Utility metering data collection automation via LoRaWAN, Modbus, DLMS-COSEM
• Test automation and device simulation in Python, including PyModbus-based virtual Modbus
RTU/TCP devices for protocol-level testing without physical hardware
