With 7+ years in design systems and 20 years in digital design, I’m a great fit for a Lead Designer role or Senior Designer. I am an independent hands-on design lead, helping companies launch and enhance their design systems. I focus on bridging the gap for designers, developers, and business specialists.
With an extensive experience in design systems, I am offering the following services:
• Audit of design processes and libraries
• Kickstart or boosting a design system
• Hands-on Figma expertise in building UI components
• Apply the WCAG accessibility standards to all designs
• Setting up multi-theme token structure (or variables in Figma)
• Design system architecture and infrastructure
• Writing functional and UX documentation
• Organizing smooth processes (goal setting and clear metrics)
• Team supervision and design management
• Community support (eg via active slack channel)
• Workshop and training
German designers are known for their thoroughness (“Deutsche Gründlichkeit”). I own excellent organizational skills to plan and manage my work and team.
I collaborate closely with the developers in our team to design APIs. This way, our components can be 100% synchronized in design and code. I cannot code, but I have a strong ability to understand code.
I worked for a broad range of clients: from governmental to commercial, SaaS products, B2B and B2C. From startups to large corporations.
