Environment - Axial is the major Transformation program for AstraZeneca to consolidate seven
different ECC instances and few BW instances into a single S/4 instance, Datasphere as the
enterprise data warehouse environment and SAP Analytics Cloud as the Analytics/EPM tool.

My Role - To Lead the Finance team through the discovery phase mapping SAP standard
Analytics & Planning content to Business processes. Identify all custom Analytics & Planning
requirements which are not provided by SAP and map them to different processes. Plan & Lead
the Analytics workshops / working sessions and manage overall Analytics & Planning delivery. I
also led the Datasphere-SAC POC for the architecture sign-off.

Direct Tax - This is a project to streamline and automate group tax consolidation and reporting
process. This Program will replace current manual activity using Spreadsheets for Group Tax
consolidation and external reporting (Fed to Group Accounts for inclusion), Stock Exchange
Announcement (SEA), Annual Reports and Accounts (ARA). This project integrates all financial
postings from different SAP and Non-SAP systems into a single BW4 instance for consolidation
and then Tax numbers are evaluated. Reporting, Manual Adjustments & User Data Actions like
Tax-Calculations etc. are performed from the SAC frontend via Single Sign-On Live Tunnel
Connections (BW Live & Embedded BPC Live).

FSCM - This is a project to automate Credit Risk assessment for BP's Customers. This project
integrates all SAP and Non-SAP Transactional environments into a central HANA DB instance.
All Internal Customer Evaluations is done in the HANA-DB and then sent to the S4/FSCM




instance. External Agency ratings for Customers come from SAP Cloud Platform to S4/FSCM.
Then a final score is evaluated in S4 for the Customers for Risk assessment. All Reporting like
Exposure, Payment performance etc. are done via SSO Live-Tunnel connections from SAC to
S/4 and SAC to HANA-DB.

My Role - I am the Design and Delivery Lead for both SAC projects, managing 20+ developers
& 100+ User base. Managing budget, hiring etc. for both the projects. I am part of the SAC
platform product council advising different projects on Technical Design, System Performance,
Product roadmap and User concerns. I am part of the BP-SAP central team for development
standards on SAP products. BP is one of the few customers to deploy SSO Live-Tunnel
connection as part of the Direct Tax project and I was involved very much with the SAP product
team for early release June-2022.

Project: S/4 HANA Transformation (EHS), BW/4 Hana upgrade, SAC Reporting
Environment:
* Technology: BW/4 Hana, S/4 CDS Views, CAQs, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power-BI, Fiori.
* Business Module: EHS - S/4 HANA Transformation program.

This was a S/4 Transformation program to modernize the Health & Safety IT portfolio for BP.
This involves upgrading ECC EHS to S/4 HANA, upgrading BW 7.4 to BW/4 HANA. My Role
is to Lead and Design the Reporting Delivery. Reporting suite was upgraded to BW/4 HANA
with new modelling technologies and SAP Analytics Cloud. Operational Reporting was
delivered using new Technologies like Embedded Analytics (CDS extractors) and SAP UI5.
