Procurement, outsourcing, and EPCI project execution professional - Offshore Wind

I am currently a freelance strategic sourcing, procurement and purchasing professional with over 18-year experience, eager to be engaged in major offshore wind farm projects development where I could offer my skills, knowledge, and experience as a way of assistance in the project execution . Currently, I'm leading a "Procurement Package" and an "Onshore Package" in a major WTG competent replacement campaign in a German OWF.
Until recently, I was a Category Manager for a Turnkey Equipment and a Tender Package Manager in DEME OffshoreProcurement & Shipping LU, with extensive experience in tendering, purchasing, and managing of subcontract projects for various equipment in power generation sector and offshore wind-farm steel foundations industry. I was an effective Project Procurement Manager in multinational company in UK , leading and managing project related procurement activities in the thermal power industry for EPCI and O&M projects .
With a sound knowledgeof an end-to-end procurement process and related contractual aspects, I have proven track records in delivering projects on time, in budget, and to expected customer quality requirements. I'm skilled in project procurement process planning, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and an effective negotiation. I was engaged multiple times in an in-depth review and interpretation of contractual conditions and preparation of contractual appendixes as required.
I deal with procurement budgets in excess of €600M and I am accustomed to lead and coach a team of project stakeholders.
I hold an International Project Management Association Certificate, Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, and I'm certified inFIDIC Contracts Management and Administration, FIDIC DBO, and FIDIC Claim and Disputes .

• Proven track record in arranging and managing contractual negotiations at early and advanced stages of the competitive tendering process, overseeing not only commercial but also technical, quality, compliance, and risk aspects.
• Accomplished numerous ORM assessments related directly to the procurement discipline, as well as procurement-linked disciplines, including design, fabrication, transport, and others.
• Deep competence in supply chain development for steel structures, including Primary and Secondary Steel components of OWF Foundations, combined with a skillset related to the assessment of fabricator's capabilities from technical, facilities, project management, and commercial perspectives.
• Demonstrated proficiency in fabrication process expediting and follow-up, including coordination of the Contractor's documentation submission, overseeing supply chain activities, and coordination of deliveries to satisfy the project program and requirements.
• Experienced in an effective (work progress) reporting to the company management and project team.
• Accustomed in cooperation with the QA team regarding components and/or assemblies inspection with related quality documentation, as well as interface management among different processes, including TQ, NCR, and claims management.
• Competent in a preparation and regular updates of a spend and cash flow forecast, including spend analysis, trends, and provision of adequate recommendations.
