- Around 20+ years of IT experience in the software,telecommunication, retail and banking industry.
- Extensive experience in designing and managing Database technologies like Oracle RAC,Oracle database,Oracle Database Cloud Service,Autonomous Database,EXADATA, ,RMAN backup & recovery ,Data Guard and HIGH availability clusters.
- Conducing proof of concept pilot projects with latest features of database technologies.
- Experience in leading database and project team.
- Experience in Planning and implementing the Backup strategy using RMAN with Catalog Database, Hot backups, Cold Backups and Logical backups (Export/Import), Data pump and recovery of the databases in various recovery scenarios using RMAN and logical backups.
- Experience in Implementing Oracle 10g, 11gR1, 11gR2,12c and 19c RAC on Red Hat Linux and OEL.
- Experience in Database Upgradation and Migrations in Production environments
- Checking RAC status and database and instance/node check-ups.
- Converting single instance to RAC
- DATA Guard and its implementation – Physical and Logical Standby
- Database Upgradation, Patching and Support.
- Coordinating with application team for improving application and database performance.
- Proficient in Shell Script, Pearl script,Phython script,automation of various jobs using Cron, RMAN Backup and recovery,Oracle 10g/11g/12c/19c RAC set up and administration,
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with strong ability to communicate effectively.
