Shiny Developer, Data Scientist and Software Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Guided and taught team members to enhance their expertise and commitment.
• Provided assistance in breaking down tasks, assigning them to teammates, and ensuring their completion.
• Conducted regular reviews of team’s work, merged it to the master branch, and deployed it using R Studio Connect.
• Embracedthe Teal framework and incorporated associated packages and successfully implemented existing open-source Teal modules into shiny applications.
• Developed custom Teal (Shiny) modules to improve interactivity in applications, allowing users to manipulate plots and tables based on various parameters and make cosmetic adjustments.
• Utilized R6 (Object-Oriented Programming) and Rlang (Meta-programming) to ensure e cient code architecture and extensibility.

• Analyzing clinical trial data Statistically in order to detect crucial and potential frauds. Building R shiny applications to simplify user analysis and generate downloadable, ready-to-interpret reports from them. 
• Producing innovative R/R Shiny applications using R CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. 
• Utilizing the cashing mechanism to enhance the speed, memory usage, and scalability of shiny apps. • Utilizing Rstudio Connect to deploy the applications.
• Read, comprehend, and assess R/R Shiny code les for unit testing. Create a unit testing approach for each unit that will be tested. Utilize tools such as testthat, shinytest2, and others to create unit tests. Examine test outcomes for any potential bugs.
• Contributing to the development of open- sourced R packages and R markdown Reports.

Mineandanalyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies. • Create course material for data science training. • Study statistical research paper and other publication. • Design and document su ciently detailed algorithm speci cations for complex statistical/mathematical methods that Software Engineers can implement and test. • Create POCs using R shiny, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML and CSS for internal stakeholder and to help developers and testers understand these algorithms well. • Write code in R/Python to explore computational properties of algorithms (like statistical and numerical accuracy). Guide statistician testers in the team to do the same. • Study Rpackages and Python libraries that could be used to perform comparative testing of Cytel’s engines. • Experience in standard procedure like Agile, Waterfall etc. • Experience in source control and versioning tool like git, git extension, bit bucket, TFS etc • Experience in project management tool like Jira, Con uence, Trello.
