IIB/ACE Specialist

My role is as follows:
 Working as Technical Team Lead and managing team of four Application Developers for IIB
Application Support and Developments for the client needs.
 Solid experience in developing Integrations using IBM Integration Bus/ App Connect Enterprise.
 Developed message flows to meet the various business requirements and transforming the incoming
messages using message sets/DFDL.
 Ability to write coding in ESQL and performed different tasks like string manipulations, calling stored
procedures, modifying the Local Environment properties, transformations etc.
 Experience in creating WSDLs, Implemented REST and SOAP based Web Services.
 Developed message flows using TCP/IP Nodes to process ISO messages and SOAP Nodes to invoke
External Solution providers.
 Experienced in creating different MQ objects like Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Listeners, IIB
Components like Configuration manager, Broker and Execution Groups.
 Experienced in applying SSL on various Integration Servers.
 Familiar with the installations and configurations of WMQ (v7.0 $ 7.5), IIB (v9/10) & IBM ACE(v11.16).
 Developed and supported Enterprise Applications Integration Solutions.
 Created and configured Error Handling and Logging components with various interfaces.
 Good debugging and problem-solving skills with excellent understanding of the system development
methodologies, techniques and tools.

Finnair is using IBM Web Sphere MQ for data transfer and IBM WebSphere Message Broker/IIB as
integration hub within the Service Layer. Connectivity to services and applications are enabled using IBM
Web Sphere MQ and adapters for SAP, files (the file adapter "JText") and database (JDBC). The
Integration hub facilitates improved delivery and reduces the overall cost of many projects. The
requirement from project perspective is to support and administer the middleware-based applications and
adapters. Also enhance the system as and when CRs/tickets raised. The project follows framework, which
comprises of logging and error handling along with rule-based routing. The technology used is WMB v6.0,
WMQ v7.0, AIX v5.3.0.0. Major Responsibilities include designed the integration layer between existing
systems and partner systems. Current task includes migration to IBM Integration Bus v9 platform. My role
was as follows:

? Analyze initial functional requirements, data mapping and non-functional requirement (NFR), if
any.
? Create the work estimation based on initial analyzes.
? Checking the Message flows, Problem determination using error logs and audit notes.
? Developed new flows and ESQL for message content enrichment with the data from database.
? Design interfaces, document design specification and review the design with the customer.
? Develop interfaces from design document and implement change request on the existing interfaces.
The development task involves creation of message flows/message sets to integrate different
systems.
? Migrate flows from WMB v6 to IIB v9 if changes/enhancement required in old version.
? Configure WebSphere MQ Objects, processes MQ intercommunications & MQ authorizations.
? Created message sets for the given business objects.
? Creation of test scenarios, test data for various message formats and perform unit testing.
? Migration of B2B gateway Queue Managers.
? Application monitoring & support.
