MDM Functional & Technical Activities:
* Configured and owner of the Billing Module (DDS) for both Push Billing and Pull Billing Services.
* Worked on most of the DDS functionalities like CRC, DDS Sum check.
* Worked closely with Test teams, Design Team and Custom Development to understand and implement
the functionalities as needed.
* Worked with test team by involving in handing over the configured functionalities at end of every
sprint and involved in test support whenever needed.
* Worked closely with custom development team where I have been involved in discussions like
communicating the custom team about the end requirement of the client and how the custom
functionalities should work
* Also configured the custom code/functionalities developed by custom team and unit tested the same
with documentation

MDM Functional & Technical Activities:
* Worked on end to end Meter Data Management Implementation.
* Worked on overall functionality of MDM such as Meter Provisioning, Data services, Measurement
profiles, Reports and Job configurations.
* Worked on VEE configuring VEE services i.e. adding/changing parameters in the specific VEE
service as needed.
* Good knowledge on Device, Service Point and Channel relationship and hands on experience on
creating all such assets from SOAP UI.
* Worked of on-cycle and off-cycle billing process contexts.
* Worked on processing reads into MDM using different adapters.
* Worked on both AMI and Non-AMI asset configurations and read files processing, billing.
* Configuring different properties in system console and monitoring the applications from system
console.
* Worked on device events, bill cycles, time of use [TOU], TOU Maps on peak and off peak meter

In CNP there are set of applications configured as EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) in which
all the applications are used to process the real time meter data reads which come MDM system and
also the billing transactions which come from external vendor systems.


My work includes following activities:
* Code development, Bug fixing and enhancement of code in the modules where it has having
production system errors.
* Involved in Unit testing, following SDLC life cycle for Code development and preparing technical
design documents.
* Worked on migration of huge data from PVCS (Polytron Version Control System) version control tool
to TFS (Team Foundation Service).
* Worked on configuring Autosys jobs, Common file movement process and Writing oracle sql queries.
* Worked on tools like service now, HPQC and Involved in Production migration activities.
* Interacting with the different Application Support teams.
* Also worked in 24x7 Production Support and Maintenance team.


Worked as functional and technical consultant in Emeter MDM, which involves meter, Service point and
device configurations, Virtual Channel creation. Bluebonnet deals with MDM which involves data
collection and processing of data from Smart meters and Smart Grid.

My work includes following activities:
* Defining meters, meter configurations, service points, and meter installations.
* Loading of meter readings from a head-end system or other source.
* Automatic validation, editing, and estimation of measurement data.
* Calculation and publishing of bill determinants and other data from measurement data for use in
external down-stream systems such as billing, pricing, etc.
* Writing queries to retrieve the data as requested by client and submit the same to customer.
* Worked on configuring virtual channel web present service, a concept which helps to visualize the
usage and billing data to the end user in a web interface.

Worked as QA Analyst to test the ITRON MDM functionality in the IEE (Itron Enterprise Edition)
application. ITRON deals with the data i.e. meter reads, device events etc. from smart meters and
the reads from smart meters which are collected and processed by the ITRON's own MDM application
IEE.

Tools Used: IEE 9.0

My work includes following activities:
* Installation process of Itron MDM application with oracle DB and SAP HANA DB and testing the
overall functionality of the application.
* Testing each and every component of application meter configuration, Validation Estimation and
editing, billing and rate modeler, device event configuration and testing functionality of
importing reads into meters and exporting the reports.
* Configuring the services and testing the same that they are configured correctly and the running.
* Reporting bugs/errors if any to the development team.
