Hello! My name is Renato Cunha, I'm a freelance illustrator and designer, born in Belém do Pará, but raised in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil.
I started as most illustrators begin: drawing superheroes and copying comics as a kid. In time I saw that this gift, besides pleasure, would give me the daily bread. I graduated in Advertising and Advertising from Unisanta, worked for 6 years in Impacto + Comunicação Total as art director and 7 years as a designer at MKT Virtual. Today I work as a freelance illustrator and designer.
I've lent my talent to brands such as Nerdstore, ItubaÃna, Dove Men Care, Rolling Stone Magazine, Copag, Mahogany and WBeer Magazine. Although I almost always use the computer in my creations, I have never abandoned the good old pencil and paper. My influences range from Pop Art to Surrealism, to comic books and even to tattoos.
