My name is Richel Alexandria "RARA" Valdez. And I am a graphic designer/ illustrator/ animator.
I am self-taught in both Graphic Design and Animation. Though I have not acquired a formal degree in my craft; I can confidently say that my skills can speak volumes on their own. With almost a decade of freelancing and office work as a graphic designer, digital illustrator, and, animator; I have an arsenal of experience in the field.
My works have been vastly wide in variety, mostly doing but not limited to the following:
? Vector Illustrations include personal avatars/ characters, etc.
? Graphic Design and Art include photo manipulation, vectorization, web graphics, branding,etc.
? Prints include calling cards, posters, greeting cards, event invitations, shirt designs, etc.
? Animation include motion graphics, video editing, slideshow animation, etc.
? Character Designs include mascots, game characters, personal cartoonization, etc.
? Game Development include game design, game assets, level design, tester etc.
Software expertise are the following:
? Adobe Illustrator
? Adobe Photoshop
? Adobe After Effects
? Paint.NET
? GIMP
? MediBang Paint Pro/ FireAlpaca
In this line of work, I have also honed myself with other skill sets.
? front-end website coding - html, css, javascript
? editing WordPress themes
? coding - python, java, c#
? software testing
? trouble-shooting both software and hardware
? game designing
Though my knowledge can only be considered as beginner to intermediate at best, but being able to understand the foundations of coding can be a huge advantage for the field of design.
