Java Architect / Developer / Java Project Manager

Presently I work as a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) in a technology startup based on the coworking space named “Cubo”, in São Paulo (https://cubo.network/). Our startup, Looqbox (http://www.looqbox.om.br) brings to the market an innovative product that propose a new way to make enterprise BI (Business Intelligence) data available. In my job, it is my responsibility to  organize, architect and manage all steps and facets of the product development. Yet, as necessary, act in the phases of building the development team, the organization of the production lifecycle management and monitoring the software lifecycle.

I am an architect and developer in more than one platform, however, my expertise is based on the Java technology, where I have been working for the major part of my career and teaching on Oracle Official Training. Besides that platform, I have worked jointly with Microsoft .NET projects in São Paulo Government, where I could gain some experience on that subject and, for a certain period of time, I taught in official Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Courses. In every project - it is worth to notice they all were web based and in major part REST styled - I used web technologies based on HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript, particularly with wide known and mature frameworks as AngularJS and Twitter Bootstrap. Recently I am devoting myself on getting familiarity with Go Language, or “Golang” as it is known due to its increasing exposure and enterprise applications fit. Complementary, I have experience with several relational and non-relational databases, particularly, the two I have dealt the most are MySQL and MongoDB.

Wide experience in people management, assembly of agile teams for software development in the public and private sectors. I try to keep myself up to date with  the IT market and its opportunities on Brazilian landscape in order to properly manage younger developers and the new work paradigms emerging in present days.

Fluent in English and Portuguese languages, I study Chinese (mandarin) in a regular formal course and, informally, Spanish and French languages.
