SAP IS-Utilities Projects/Assignments
1. Client: SCE (Southern California Edison)
Role: ISU Billing Consultant
This is a green field project where SCE is planning to decommission their legacy CSS system and replace it with
the latest SAP ISU solution suite on Hana. Job scope covers all aspects for billing from rate configuration to
enhancement deployment.

This is a green field project where EPS is planning to decommission their legacy system and replace it with the
latest SAP ISU solution suite. Main scope is to review and QA the solutions and also provide implementation
team with solutions within FICA, Billing, DM, and CS where the team is facing challenges in bridging the
standard solution gaps.

This is a Smart Meter rollout program by the ministry of Kuwait. Project scope include smart meter
implementation for electricity as well as for different types of water meters (e.g. potable water, desalinated
water, sewage water, waste water) via MUC devices. Interfaces with Schneider MDM/HES, Iskrameco smarter
meters, GreenBird as the ESB, and IBM Cognos for event correlation analytics. Solution scope also include
integration with external Pre-Payment system (Ericsson in-house) for processes involving prepaid wallet top up,
load limiters, IHD Texting, email, and SMS communications with customers.

This is a periodical deregulation change in mandates (MIG6) project for Belgium. Main focus is on implementing
changes in a post go-live environment from metering (Device Management) to Billing/Invoicing with some
overlapping with IDEX.

5. Client: Synergy
Role: ISU Consultant
This is a post go live project focusing on streamling processes and making the existing system functionalies
more lean and neat. Scope of work includes analysing existing funcotnalites and impementing new
requirements in a harmonious way with minimal disruption

This is a short term sales bid assignment for Cap Gemini. Role is to design solution with the team to prepare
Singapore Power for deregulation using IDEX. Main scope of focus also includes AMI Smart metering
integration with MDMS and ISU, along with EDM settlements workbench. CAP Gemini WON the project with
the solutions proposed.

Design and implement entire solution (single-handed) for SAP IS-U AMI meter relevant processes to integrate
with Oracle MDMS and Smart Grid Network Management System. Scope of work range from DM meter and
meter reads management to Billing TOU determinants handling and rate configurations, FICA dunning remote
disconnection/payment remote reconnection, WM discon/recon service notifications and CS/CRM events
handling, on demand reads, meter operation status and etc. Scope also includes PMO activities such as WBS
planning, work effort estimation and client team and expectation management.

Main role is to provide application support in a production environment, fixing defects, and making
recommended changes to improve processes

9. Client: SEC (Saudi Electric Company)
Role: Team Lead - Device Management
This role is an urgent assignment request from the client. The objective to help the team pull through the
backlog and meet the project milestones. Scope of work include full responsibilities of a Team Leader, as well
as a team member with own deliverables.

10. Client: HONI (Hydro One Networks Inc.)
Role: Consultant - AMI Meter Reading, Billing and EDM trade settlements
Main role is to implement 'complex billing' for 'LDC' (local distribution companies) as well as large
commercial/industrial customers. Scope also includes trade settlements between IESO and Distribution
companies.

This is an AMS (Application Management Support) role in a deregulated environment. Client is in both gas and
electricity business. Main role is to manage and lead the Team in new project initiatives and also in resolving
post-production support tickets. Relevant SAP IS-U module/areas worked on:

SMUD has been using IS-U for past 10 years. SMUD's SAP AMI project went live 2 years ago. This role is in a
post go-live SAP AMI Smart Meter project to roll out DRMS (Demand Response Management System) Program
initiatives including:

This is a pre-sales assignment in an attempt to introduce SAP IS-U suite as a primary billing solution for
Sembcorp's Water and Waste Water operations in Shenyang industrial district, China. Primary role is to do
workshop presentations on IS-U (all modules) functionalities and explain how it'll integrate into Sembcorp's
daily operations. Part of the process is also to steer Sembcorp towards best practices in water utilities
worldwide. Secondary role is to explain IS-U's potential to integrate across a single SAP platform for it's global
operations across Asia, Europe, Middle East, and North/South America.

18. Client: City of Palo Alto
Role: Team Lead - Device Management
This is a brand new implementation for a multi-service project with electricity, water, waste-water, gas, and
cable license.

This is a deregulated project for an electricity company as a "supplier" (retailer). Main role was to design and
implement the supplier switch processes (enrolment/registrations, loss/gain of customers), processing of
electronic bills from distributors, and sending of payment to distributors using IDE functionalities

prints, and functional specs, including writing test scripts. Later stage also included writing blue print document
for EDM solution to be implemented after pilot go-live

This is a brand new implementation for a water and waste-water project. Role encompasses full

processes. Also responsible for EDM (Settlements), and CIC (customer switching/supplier change) processes
throughout project.
