Bachelor's Degree - TelecommunicationAfter 17 years as a developer, 14 of them totally focused on iOS, I know myself well enough to say that I adapt pretty well to the continuously changing languages, frameworks and technology. I enjoy learning, improving and delivering good quality code.
For the past 7 years I have been working at MaaS Global (Finland), in a medium-sized international iOS team. We followed Scrum methodology, devops principles (CI/CD) and created SOLID code.
I especially like working on the UI, from design discussions to implementation. And being a freelancer for a decade has given me the expertise and knowledge to deal with team communication (also remote) and self-organize at the same time.
Based on comments from my previous CTO and team mates: I bring an air of calmness to the team thanks to my experience and my understated, methodological approach. I always find a way to get things done with quality and integrity. And I am also very loyal.

Project history
Whim is the Netflix of transportation. It gives users access to all the surrounding transport modes (metro, bus, tram, taxi, bike, scooter, train, and tc) by paying a monthly flat rate. It’s CEO is the inventor of the MaaS concept, Dr. Sampo Hietanen. It was a success in Finland, attracting up to 60M in series B funding.
I worked on their only product, the transportation app Whim, as a senior developer. I also refactored parts of the app to VIPER architecture, performed the interim team lead role and managed the continuous delivery pipeline. I took part in recruitment interviews as well. I had ownership of the micromobility flow.

Starcut was a consulting firm in Helsinki, Finland. They had important clients in Finland, like the Ministry of Industry and the MTV3 national television channel.
I worked as a senior iOS developer on green field apps for the Teknavi TV show, the Trafi Finnish authority and KindieDays. For the former two apps, I completely developed them using Objective-C and the latest trends in the UI, animations and interactions. I worked on the latter with a teammate, developing it completely in Swift.

Instasize adds some flavour on top of Instagram, allowing their users to apply special filters and frames to their pictures. It has 200 million downloads.
