I build and maintain Shopware 6 storefronts for live, revenue-generating shops. My daily work is inside custom themes and plugins, not just the default storefront, so layout changes, checkout adjustments and theme-level fixes are routine for me.
What I do:
• Custom theme development and adjustments (theme inheritance, Twig block overrides, SCSS, storefront JavaScript plugins)
• Checkout customisation, including a full one-page checkout redesign with voucher handling and a reworked order-finish page
• Plugin development and adjustments in PHP (subscribers, services, entity extensions, admin module builds)
• Frontend and layout changes across product, listing, cart and CMS pages • Image, content and configuration updates across multi-sales-channel shops
• Payment and shipping plugin integration work (PayPal, Klarna, Unzer, Payone and similar)
How I work:
• Build and test on staging first, then deploy with theme recompile and a post-deploy check
• Work independently through a task list with a clear estimate per item
• Flag anything that touches payments or order flow before changing it
• Short written updates with before/after screenshots when each task is done
Tech: Shopware 6 (6.4–6.6), PHP 8, Symfony, Twig, SCSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Git, Webpack, Composer, Linux/Docker. I communicate in English and can read German briefings and admin UI without issues.
