Project history
Led Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) solution design and deployment for global rollouts including Dubai (Release 9) and US (Release 11). Architected multi-level AVC models leveraging Material Variant concepts for complex low-level configuration scenarios. Co-designed solution for auto-creation of Material Variants from front-end systems to SAP via APIs. Supported CPS implementation for the DPS Business Unit. Contributed to real-time Material Variant transfer strategy from ECC to RISE platform. Reviewed and validated RICEFWs, managed the VC IT Unit, enhanced system documentation, supported IT and UAT testing, and delivered targeted training sessions for business stakeholders.
Owned end-to-end Variant Configuration (VC) for the Metal Deposition Product Family, covering 14+ complex models. Designed and maintained VC models using LOVC and PMEVC, ensuring consistency across all VC master data objects. Created and maintained AMAT-specific VC templates within the configuration repository. Developed automation macros to streamline model validation. Interpreted weekly release notes and PCA inputs to define roadmaps. Resolved critical issues related to order blocks, managed CRM-side validations, supported engineering change processes, and led a small team for configuration execution and issue resolution.
