Project history
Software development and consulting with focus on document-management systems, working remotely. Developed and evolved a document-management system as project lead covering architecture, database design, development, deployment, and long-term maintenance using Firebird database and RAD Studio (Delphi, DevExpress, FIBPlus). Maintained and enhanced a commercial client-server product for debtor tracking in credit institutions using RAD Studio (Delphi, DevExpress), FireDAC and ADO for data access, and MS SQL Server back end with Oracle support. Database design, optimization, and moving business logic into the database.
Co-founded a software company building document-management systems and led its development division. Worked directly with customers, defined scope of work, set tasks for the team, led development and contributed hands-on, oversaw documentation and support, and spoke at industry conferences.
Document-management automation: development, deployment, and on-site customer support. From 2003 led the IT and Automated Systems Department and its document-management projects.
