I am a senior software engineer specializing in algorithm development, numerical and computational methods, and high-performance C++ software.
My work focuses on turning complex mathematical, scientific and technical problems into efficient and robust implementations. I have extensive experience designing and optimizing algorithms, analyzing performance and numerical behavior, and working with large and complex existing codebases.
My technical background includes C and C++, CUDA and GPU computing, multithreading and parallel programming, high-performance computing, performance optimization, debugging, numerical computing, software architecture, and development on Linux and Windows. I am comfortable working close to the hardware as well as on higher-level algorithmic and architectural problems.
I have many years of experience in research-oriented and technically demanding software development, including the modernization and maintenance of long-lived systems. I am particularly interested in projects where understanding the underlying problem matters as much as writing the code.
I use Augmented Code extensively as an accelerator in my daily engineering workflow, including Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. I use AI primarily to speed up codebase exploration, analysis, implementation, debugging and verification, while keeping architectural decisions, algorithmic reasoning and quality control firmly in the engineering process. I also work with coding agents where appropriate, but prefer controlled, verifiable workflows over autonomous code generation.
