Lead engineer for Cradle, Amazon's internal big data platform supporting 1,000+ internal teams, executing 1M+ Spark jobs/day, and processing 100+ PB daily. Drove architecture and platform evolution for one of Amazon's largest distributed compute environments, defining technical standards and influencing design decisions across multiple orgs. Improved Spark job read times by 30% and reduced compute spend by $1M+ annually by designing and rolling out Post Globbing, solving the large-scale small-file problem at platform level.
