Senior Drupal engineer and technical lead with 15+ years building, running and rescuing enterprise Drupal platforms for global organisations, including Pfizer, Beam Suntory, Novocure, Disney, PwC, the UK government and the WTO. Drupal community contributor, with code in Drupal core and several contributed modules I maintain.

AI-assisted development with Claude Code: I use agents for audits, migrations and deploy scripts, and I review every change and make each production deploy myself. One person delivers team-sized work quickly and safely.
Recent results:
Novocure (2025-2026): as technical lead, used Claude Code to reorganise and standardise a multi-site Drupal installation into a stable, scalable platform, and worked with IT to speed up and stabilise the deployment pipeline.
Beam Suntory (2022-2025): led the client’s Drupal team and set up their Platform team to tackle the most critical platform issues; introduced automated testing and code-quality checks in GitHub Actions.
Pfizer (2019-2022): part of the engineering team running Pfizer’s online platform, including the Drupal dashboard that coordinates thousands of sites. Automated internal processes, saving millions of dollars a year, and planned and ran the migration from a third-party host to in-house AWS.
Appnovation (2014-2021): technical lead on projects for the UK government, WTO, Disney and PwC; helped establish the company in the UK market.
Axel Springer Spain (2010-2014): Drupal lead for the move of their main magazines from print to digital; built hobbyconsolas.com and computerhoy.com and hired a team of four developers and themers.
WordPress rescue (2026): recovered an undocumented site; upgraded PHP 7.4 to 8.2, cut server response time from 1.22 s to 0.37 s and built a block theme that scored 100 in Lighthouse.

Project history
Restructured a fragmented multi-site installation into a stable, scalable platform using Claude Code to accelerate the audit and refactor. Improved deployment-pipeline speed and stability with the client's IT department and introduced workflow best practices, increasing client satisfaction and trust.
Introduced GitHub Actions pipelines for coding standards, automated testing and code-quality checks across the brand-site platform. Founded and led a Platform team to own the most critical issues with their multi-brand Drupal platform.
Core engineer on the platform behind Pfizer's global web presence, one of the largest Drupal implementations in the world. Owned the Drupal Dashboard for control plane provisioning and coordinating thousands of Pfizer web properties. Automated internal processes saving millions of dollars per year and executed the migration from third-party hosting onto in-house AWS infrastructure.
