Project history
Served as the primary EDI resource in the end-to-end migration from OpenText SaaS to Seeburger SaaS for a global automotive components manufacturer, achieving full platform cutover in January 2025, while simultaneously maintaining complete operational stability of the live OpenText environment throughout. Acting as primary mapping developer, lead tester and validator, and main liaison between internal stakeholders, customers and cross-functional support teams. Continuing post-cutover with new implementations and ongoing production support.
• Coordinated and delivered process mapping workshops for all EDI workflows, documenting OEM vs. aftermarket process distinctions, customisations and business-specific requirements — ensuring architecture was validated before execution began.
• Developed and validated 300+ customer-side mappings covering 1,000+ partners, including all connections, configurations, SAP ERP trading partner setups and data validation rules across OEM and aftermarket streams.
• Contributed to SAP-to-Seeburger interface builds across multiple SAP instances, ensuring end-to-end ERP connectivity on the new platform.
• Maintained parallel platform operations throughout migration, covering new mapping development, production monitoring and incident, change and problem management across both environments. • Acted as primary liaison across SAP Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, ABAP, Basis and infrastructure teams.
Embedded into BorgWarner's centralised SAP CoE following the acquisition of Delphi Technologies, playing a key role in harmonising the Delphi EDI landscape into the BorgWarner ecosystem across multiple platforms and SAP instances.
• Served as primary EDI resource for the migration and reconfiguration of EDI flows from Delphi Technologies' OpenText/GXS environment into BorgWarner's integrated landscape — covering mapping migration, partner reconfiguration and SAP instance realignment across multiple EMEA plants.
• Coordinated EDI harmonisation workstreams: mapping development, plant migrations to new SAP instances and SAP/OpenText configuration alignment to BorgWarner standards.
• Configured and administered IBM Sterling Integrator for external warehouse integrations and internal consignment flows — including Turkey-based consignment setups requiring dedicated German warehouse infrastructure due to EU legal constraints, with ALE configuration built inside Sterling.
• Provided advisory support on Covisint B2B portal requirements, consulting on OEM trading partner connectivity alongside the incumbent external specialist.
• Collaborated closely across SAP SD, MM, FI-CO, WM and PP teams, business units, external suppliers and EDI service providers to ensure integration delivery aligned with BorgWarner operational requirements.
• Resolved B2B incidents and integration failures across EMEA, ensuring supply chain continuity throughout a complex merger transition period.
Primary EDI resource for the Delphi Technologies / Aptiv corporate carve-out, progressively replacing two external consultants over 18 months while maintaining uninterrupted production EDI operations across OEM and aftermarket landscapes.
• Audited, cloned and adapted 700+ mappings and 1,000+ configurations from the Aptiv parent environment into Delphi Technologies' OpenText SaaS platform, applying new identifiers, naming conventions and business rules across the full trading partner portfolio.
• Recertified 300+ customers and 300–500 suppliers across EDIFACT, VDA, ODETTE, ANSI X12, IDoc and XML — covering OEM and aftermarket operations including 3PL, consignment and sequencing flows.
• Configured IBM Sterling Integrator alongside OpenText, building integration flows for external warehouses and managing XREF maintenance for mapping alignment between SAP and external message standards.
• Contributed to cleansing of SAP ECC and OpenText environments of all legacy Aptiv data, ensuring full data integrity and compliance post-split.
• Rebranded all EDI guidelines, trading partner documentation and knowledge base assets under the Delphi Technologies identity.
• Assumed full ownership of both vendor and customer EDI workstreams within 18 months.
