Project history
Working inside the retrieval layer of a production conversational AI assistant: hybrid search over OpenSearch Serverless (vector kNN, metadata filtering), Bedrock Titan v2 embeddings, and chunk re-ranking. Delivering across services: React 18 SPA, FastAPI/Pydantic API on AWS Lambda, LangGraph agent, and a scheduled ingestion service with function calling and structured responses. Scheduled crawler diffs source-of-truth content into the knowledge base. Test-driven delivery with structured logging, monitoring, QA, security review, and deployment alongside data scientists and DevOps.
Built and deployed a self-hosted LLM inference stack (Modal, vLLM, Qwen3) with an OpenAI-compatible API endpoint for multi-provider integration, eliminating vendor lock-in and reducing data privacy exposure. Founded Japas Audio and built Digital Decay, a commercial VST plugin (C++, JUCE, DSP), owning the full signal chain from DSP design through 3D UI and commercial delivery.
Built core backend services for Myze, a B2B SaaS platform for industrial print-on-demand serving ~30 companies across Europe. Designed event-driven serverless infrastructure (Lambda, EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB) for multi-step order workflows and cross-company fulfillment. Designed multi-tenant REST APIs (OpenAPI) with JWT/OAuth2 and Cognito auth. Owned full-stack delivery on customer-facing features from API design through React/TypeScript UI; maintained and migrated unit and E2E test suites (Pytest, Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
