Project history
Responsible for fuselage CAD design in NX12/Teamcenter for eVTOL prototypes Romeo and Victor, from mould surfaces through detailed CFRP panels, metallic parts, brackets, bushes and bolts. Created manufacturing/detail and installation drawings. Designed front and rear door hinges/opening mechanisms, performed door swing studies, designed landing gear brackets and wing-to-fuselage interface brackets. Worked closely with FEM engineers and supported suppliers through part execution and aircraft installation.
Responsible for Class A aerodynamic exterior surfaces including fuselage and rotor ring for the VC2-1 electric VTOL. Responsible for detailed CFRP structure inside the rotor ring. Created cockpit Class A surfaces and detailed 3D parts including pillars, door frame, overhead panel, cockpit floor, floor console and instrument-panel console. Created detailed 3D models of fuselage shells, landing gear covers and luggage compartment.
Supported the Eviation Alice electric aircraft prototype using NX12; developed wing skins and landing gear doors. Responsible for landing gear door hinge concept, door swing studies and parts belonging to the door mechanism.
