Project history
Led architecture and implementation of Android AppSupport layer using systemd, D-Bus, and Wayland. Owned Android media hardware Linux integration with GStreamer and Mozilla Gecko. Designed lightweight containerisation system for secure app isolation. Chaired IRC community meetings and represented SailfishOS at industry events.
Led development of CRISTAL, a production and workflow management platform for CERN detector construction. Refactored into an open-source BPM system. Tech stack included Java, XML, LDAP, RDBMS, and REST APIs. Participated in European Commission projects including CRISTAL-iSE, neuGRID, and Health-e-Child.
Designed and maintained construction databases for the CMS detector used in quality control and calibration. Steered CRISTAL through competing CERN and commercial interests.
