Project history
Working as refinery configuration study engineer, developing LP models for clients using Aspen PIMS/AVEVA Spiral plan. Developed complex LP sub-models for bottom-of-the-barrel upgrading units and led LP Configuration Modeler for BPCL Bongaigaon Greenfield Project.
Led digital transformation of India's largest refiner from legacy RPMS LP Model to AVEVA Spiral. Implemented integrated refinery planning and distribution solutions, conducted simulation runs post SROP, and provided extensive training to refinery planning teams.
Developed and maintained multi-period and multi-plant model of refineries in Aspen PIMS using PPIMS/XPIMS for US refiners. Incorporated non-linear constraints into PIMS AO model and supported LP engineers with hybrid model development.
