Senior motion designer

Allow myself to introduce.... myself...

I'm Ciaran, I live in Dublin, Ireland and I'm a 2D/3D motion designer & video editor creating graphics for documentaries, stage visuals and assorted commercial & corporate projects. I've worked on everything from explainers to projection mapping to motion graphics in Oscar-nominated films, along with a couple of years teaching graphic design and video production at DCU. Over the years, I've switched from freelance to FTC to long term contract to in-house and back, working with small production studios, massive broadcast TV companies and in the fintech/SaaS sector. Pretty much all the usual self-facilitating media node sort of thing!

Typically I like to use After Effects, Cinema 4D, Premiere and a few more tools & programs to get the job done. Lately I've been investigating more expressions-led projects and RS Toon materials along with testing the water using Unreal Engine and figuring out what I can do to get AI workflows to help me with.
