Senior backend engineer with 25 years of hands-on PHP experience, including 13 years as the main technical owner of data-heavy SaaS platforms for a Swiss group (Uniplex AG, Compero.ch, PageGrid.com) running under continuous production load.
Core stack: PHP 8.x, Laravel, Symfony, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis (cache and queues), Laravel Horizon, REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, Stripe and Paddle payments, Linux, Docker, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS). Also Vue.js, Inertia.js, Livewire, Python, Node.js, Elasticsearch and Sphinx.
What I do: backend architecture and long-term system ownership, database performance (query optimization, indexing, EXPLAIN ANALYZE), legacy PHP modernization and framework upgrades, queues and background processing, third-party API integrations, and production AI features with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, n8n automation, MCP and pgvector.

- e-commerce backend with 90,000+ products made fast and stable (Norsk Dentallager);
- real-time lead routing to partner CRMs (Compero.ch);
- programmatic SEO platform with thousands of landing pages (PageGrid.com);
- co-founded Maperia, a high-traffic geospatial search portal on MySQL and Sphinx. Earlier: Wirtualna Polska and my own software company eCreative (2006-2020).
