I am an IT professional helping businesses to manage effectively their SAP and Oracle systems, allowing them to release more innovative and attractive products.
I bring to your company an experience of 23+ years in IT: 13+ years in SAP Basis/Netweaver and 10+ years in Oracle Database Administration.
I´ve worked with market-leading organizations in Portugal and Brazil, each one with at least 5000 employees, running different core businesses : IT, Oil&Gas, Utilities and Telecommunications. I was previously an employee of the biggest Brazilian company, which in turn has one of the largest SAP installations in the world, with around 300 SAP systems installed.
I have proven experience with at least 15 SAP projects delivered (installations/upgrades/full-cycle implementations /support packages/database upgrades and migrations). Furthermore, I am proficient in carrying out typical maintenance and design activities based on SAP best practices, involving different technologies at all layers (App, OS, DB, Storage) in a multi-client environment.

Project history
- Upgraded S4HANA from version 1709 to 1909
- Performed several S4HANA, Fiori and PO system refreshes
- Supporting and troubleshooting S4HANA, Fiori and PO
- Upgraded BW (SAP SEM+BPC) from Netweaver 7.4 to 7.5 based on business requirements, recommending the target version along with the functional team. For the post-activities, was in touch with Bex Web and BW datasources. The landscape is outlined below:
- ABAP and Java instances on a Windows Cluster scenario with two-nodes
- Database on SAP HANA with System Replication active
- SAP Portal installed on Java side
- After advising a Solution Manager update to a client, applied support package 9 to version 7.2 and configured all the connections to managed systems, enabling Service Delivery
- Manages S4HANA, ECC, CRM, BW4HANA, Fiori, Hybris and BO
- Involved in provisioning a new BW system, installed on Netweaver 7.4 running on HANA, using System Copy
- Experience in supporting integration of SAP Ariba Cloud with internal S4HANA, configuring back-end, installing and configuring SAP Cloud Connector and enabling the communication through the firewall between the cloud and on-premise systems
- Installed SAP NLS with the archived data on Sybase IQ
- Managed Opentext Archive Server, integrating with SAP
- Supports and maintains ERP/BC integration with external interfaces, like Portuguese´s tax authority and banking system, through Web Services, certificates and SSL setup
- Maintenance of SAP profiles/authorizations
- Carries out general database activities (install, upgrade, monitor and backup management) for HANA, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Furthermore, for HANA databases, setup and maintenance of System Replication
- Hands on experience with at least two full-cycle implementation projects : SAP TDMS and SAP LVM (LaMa)
- Successfully upgraded two PI/PO systems and two CRM systems
- Served as team leader for SAP users to support several products like ECC, CRM and MDM, apart from supporting PI, Solution Manager and GRC-AC systems, exceeding client expectations
- Managed SAP HANA, and implemented SAP Data Archiving in ECC and BW systems
- Involved in projects to enable the access to SAP Cloud Platform for users; implemented infrastructure setup – authentication (Microsoft AD), authorisation and subaccounts management
- Troubleshooted application (ABAP and SQL) and coached development teams.
