Project history
Designed, built, and launched a SaaS platform for professional photographers covering architecture, backend, frontend, authentication, billing, object storage, observability, and deployment. Implemented multi-gigabyte photo uploads, protected client galleries, photo-selection workflows, subscriptions, and high-resolution delivery. Technologies: Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Cloudflare R2, Stripe, Vercel.
Technical lead for Santander Auto Software, a multi-tenant vehicle-leasing and mobility platform serving multiple European markets. Co-designed the initial microservices architecture, led system design across 50+ microservices built by 70+ engineers in three countries, designed Kafka event flows, architected a centralized Integration Platform supporting 20+ external integrations, implemented core platform capabilities including contract and invoice services, established API standards and observability practices, and introduced AI-assisted development workflows.
Built Compliance Central, a fintech reporting platform for compliance teams and financial analysts. Designed a configurable reporting engine, implemented serverless workflow orchestration with AWS Step Functions, improved reliability of workflows processing gigabytes of data, developed secure APIs with AWS API Gateway, and conducted 70+ interviews for Amazon engineering roles.
