Linux / docker administrator

As a seasoned technology professional, I'm excited to bring my unique blend of development and system administration expertise to the table. With a proactive approach and a friendly demeanor, I'm always easy to talk to and collaborate with. My background as a developer-turned-sysadmin has given me a distinct advantage in understanding the needs of both worlds, allowing me to design and implement systems that are not only efficient but also scalable and secure.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building custom systems with OAuth access to administering complex server infrastructures using cutting-edge technologies like Proxmox, Podman, Docker, and Kubernetes. One of my proudest achievements was maintaining a fleet of over 20 servers running Java applications, where I ensured that security was always top-notch. I took pride in keeping these systems up and running smoothly, and I'm confident that my expertise will serve me well in helping others achieve their technology goals.

Now, as a freelancer, I'm excited to offer my skills to clients who need help keeping their applications running - whether that's self-hosted or in the cloud, and whether that involves containerization or not. I've worked with a variety of technologies, and I'm comfortable "gluing together" different systems to meet the unique needs of each client. Whether you're looking for a reliable system administrator to keep your infrastructure running smoothly, or a developer who can help you build custom solutions, I'm here to help.
