Project history
As a freelance developer, I was involved in developing gigs like:
* standalone utilities programs and tools in C language which includes implementation of
Linux mini shell
* developing Debian and Linux rpm packages from a source binaries on an
* AWS instance.
* Involved in a gig with a development of APIs to recognize particular objects
Using the CGAL, boost libraries and Qt GUI

Worked in the Design and development of comprehensive test strategy and execution scripts in a
large-scale framework that tests multi-dimensional aspects of storage virtualization for VMware
vSphere products.
Worked on developing scripts to stress and diagnose the various modules of VMFS to check for IO
performance with different storage devices and virtual environments. The test modules were to be
designed and implemented in Python, C and shell scripts which would enable VMFS API Simulation for
performance analysis.

Contributed as a developer for Validation Test Suite (VTS) - an OS level Post Silicon validation
tool which is primarily used for hardware testing by internal teams working on processor design,
processor bring-up & debug, systems manufacturing sites, field customer support and by customers.
* Development of the user level Application based engines to verify the HW and SW product
performance, availability and stability.
* Designed and implementation of diagnostic solutions for stress and performance testing of
Storage Media (HDD, SSD & NVMe). These solutions were developed on Linux/Solaris using C &
assembly programming and with extensive use of Multi-Threaded, Multi-Process programming & IPC
mechanisms. Some of these involved programming to the Linux/Solaris driver interfaces.
* Development of tests to monitor the disk health through SMART using SCSI and ATA.
* Development of tests to flood and monitor network activity and the system interconnects
* Development of tools to monitor the Disk performance and Throughput
* Porting of the diagnostic tools on Linux
* Worked on various tools to stress the IO hardware to achieve the maximum performance
* Development of tools for Monitoring of Disk Wear and Tear to avoid Customer Data Loss
* Development of tests to check the different Disk Controllers with various RAID Configurations
and testing the IO activity between them. Development of tests to test the different HBA(Host
to Bus Adapter) functionality
