Project history
Research application for Amazon communities piloting in Santarem, Para. Civil-defence-style alert distribution for extreme weather events driven by El Nino, plus route guidance to affected and isolated locations. Bluetooth peer-to-peer layer with store-and-forward messaging so alerts still propagate when mobile networks fail. Built with a mechanical engineering researcher from Germany and a pharmaceutical sciences colleague at Federal University of Western Para (UFOPA).
Machine-learning detection of drone acoustic signatures; software validated in field tests against real aircraft. Companion IoT device adding azimuth estimation, designed and built in-house. Privacy-preserving telemetry design: audio never leaves the device in normal operation, with opt-in per-event upload used to mine hard negatives and reduce false positives.
Multi-tenant inventory platform integrating Mercado Livre and Shopee marketplace APIs, with automated stock reconciliation on sale events, dashboard metrics and exportable reporting. Currently in private beta with two paying business customers.
