Cepoi Scarletia Sorin - page 1
Jan 2022 - Mar 2023 (1 year 3 months)
During my time on this engagement I managed to successfully handle below topics:
- Worked on consent management solution where I was responsible for defining a new flow to
handle unsubscribe events. In order to achieve this I created a new lambda function and Spring
Boot microservices which were used to connect SAP Commerce consents with Didomi. For the
microservices beside the actual implementation I also contributed to the architectural design.
- Defined a new graphQL service for the favorite lists and integrated it with SAP Commerce. Datasource
of the microservice was the existing SAP Commerce solution while the frontend implementation was
relaying on Angular JS.
- Contributed to the migration of the Ecommerce solution from a monolith architecture to a
microservices based architecture

As a senior SAP Commerce developer I worked on a global ecommerce implementation for one of the
biggest beauty products retailer.
The solution was build on top of a complex architecture using integrations with: SAP CRM, Marketing
Cloud, One Trust, Adobe AEM, AWS as a deployment environment.
During my time on this engagement I managed to successfully handle below topics:
- Worked on a global solution for handling E-vouchers and promotions using Hybris/SAP Commerce
build in Promotion Engine. The complexity was mainly driven by the fact that the customer used a
combination of Personalization rules (Marketing Cloud) and SAP Commerce promotions to enable
personalized promotions.
- I also worked on the integration between SAP Commerce and SAP CRM using SAP JCo connector to
handle the integration using SAP's RFC protocol. With this implementation we enabled SAP Commerce
to do direct calls to ABAP for data exchange between systems
- On the SAP Commerce Backoffice module I developed a new widget to enabled customer agents to
handle customer reports based on predefined requirements. The widget was responsible to extract on
demand a list of customers impacted by an ongoing system issue. Further on this report was used by
CS agents to run different information campaigns.
