Software Architecture & System Design
End-to-end architecture ownership of regulated, high-load, money-moving systems including core-banking landscapes. Expertise in Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, Monolith Decomposition, and Legacy-to-Modern Migration. Application of TOGAF, ArchiMate, C4 Model, and UML for enterprise and integration architecture standards.
AI/LLM Systems & AI Adoption
Architecture-level work on AI/LLM systems including LLM vendor evaluation, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases (pgvector, Qdrant, Milvus), AI agents, MCP (Model Context Protocol), LangChain, and LlamaIndex. Leadership of AI adoption across cross-functional teams within regulatory compliance boundaries, including design of AI gateway and guardrail layers.
Platforms, Data & Cloud
Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), ClickHouse, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes. Cloud delivery on GCP and AWS as well as private cloud and on-premise self-hosted deployments into customer-controlled environments.
Security & Identity Management
Background in Information Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Single Sign-On (SSO). Implementation of regulatory compliance requirements in enterprise environments, including ownership of OAuth 2.0/OIDC identity provider at source level using IdentityServer4.
Languages & Runtimes
Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET across all versions from .NET Framework 3.5 through modern .NET, ASP.NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC. Advanced SQL skills including window functions, CTEs, and query plan tuning. Also TypeScript/JavaScript, Go (one small production project) and Python (reading and review).
Developer Platform & Internal Tooling
Design and delivery of internal developer tooling including service templates, scaffolding, and shared client libraries. Creation of reusable reference architectures and templates adopted across multiple engineering teams.
Team Leadership & Cross-Team Coordination
Coordination of cross-functional teams of up to 20 people across backend, frontend, DevOps, QA, and BA roles. Architecture oversight and integration guidance across large programs of 20-40 people each, including requirements gathering, planning, pre-sales support, and hiring.
AI Coding Tools & Workflow
Daily use of Claude Code and agent workflows for development tasks. Cross-model review of generated diffs as part of a personal AI-assisted engineering workflow.

Project history
Own end-to-end architecture in a core-banking, high-load, regulated environment covering .NET and Java services, event-driven integration over Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ and an enterprise service bus, and analytics on ClickHouse and Hadoop. Drive the bank's AI adoption across 6-8 cross-functional AI teams, evaluating 7-10 AI/LLM vendors and funneling ~100 candidate use-cases into 20+ pilots with 6 reaching production. Define corporate, infrastructure, and integration architecture standards. Provide architecture oversight and cross-team integration guidance across 4 large programs of 20-40 people each.
Owned end-to-end architecture of two enterprise products for corporate customers: Identity Management (IDM) and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM). PSIM processed ~30K security events/sec on a distributed cluster at 99.9% uptime with ~10 external integrations, deployed on-premise into customer-controlled environments. Coordinated ~20 people across 3 teams. Built internal developer tooling including service scaffolding templates and shared packages. Product stack: .NET, React, Angular, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Redis, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, ClickHouse.
Grew a cross-functional team from 8 to 14 over five years covering backend, frontend, and QA. Owned architecture decisions, code review, and cross-team collaboration. Domains included healthcare, transportation/parking, and SaaS platforms. Led decomposition of a legacy healthcare platform from ASP.NET MVC 3 web applications into microservices and micro-frontends. Owned the platform's OAuth 2.0/OIDC identity provider using IdentityServer4. Stack: .NET, Angular, MongoDB, Redis, MS SQL Server, Docker.
