Thorntail Replacement (2023–2025)
DCC faced delivery, financial, and governance risks during the peak of its €30m GBCS programme to upgrade SMETS2 across the UK. Engaged as Assistant Programme Manager across 10 interdependent projects, with responsibility for planning, risk, cost, change, and governance. Built the master delivery plan; supported 3 PMs; led supplier risk management; managed change and cost control. Successfully restored programme control and predictability, delivering under budget, passing all governance gates.

Java Upgrade (2024)
Smart DCC faced security risks from an outdated Java version. Engaged as Project Manager to remediate vulnerabilities. Led a 3-month project, managing external suppliers and collaborating with Ops, CTO, Security, and Test Assurance. Guided decisions, controlled costs, and delivered the upgrade to the strategic choice of OpenJDK, closing security risks, saving €300k annually in licensing, and achieving stakeholder satisfaction.

Smart Meter Programme (2018–2020)
The largest smart meter installer in the UK SMS required its business proposition to incorporate the new generation of smart meters. Engaged as Agile Project Manager to deliver capability. Led 4 smart meter adapter integration projects, budget €930k; led software Scrum teams (offshore and UK), each ~8 specialists; developed a Web and mobile application; and onboarded ~20 suppliers. Successfully delivered a programme of multiple critical projects to establish new smart meter capabilities and gave the company a commercial edge.

HelloGo (Netherlands) Mobile Ticketing App (2018)
Startup Corethree faced reputational issues and a fixed deadline after client escalation reached the Dutch royal family. Engaged to rescue the failing project. Documented, revised and agreed scope with client, reset UAT, restructured priorities for limited development resources while working closely with C-level stakeholders. Achieved timely delivery of app under a €350k budget, regaining client trust and restoring company reputation.

EDF Energy, a client of consultancy Keytree, required digital transformation of its corporate training event organisation and booking processes. Engaged as Agile Project Manager for bespoke software development. Scoped requirements, created user stories, and led the team. Oversaw development of mobile and web apps, integrated in-house and 3rd-party systems. Successfully delivered a hybrid application (Android, iOS, desktop) that resolved process issues and streamlined event registration.

• Led software development and delivered specialised mobile application for client (Vodafone) to provide effective succession planning of senior management/key personnel (characterised as SPOFs).
• Developed and demonstrated a showcase application (BP Fuels) to client (BP) to provide POC of proposed complex system migration to SAP HANA Cloud (HCP) based platform.
• Managed the service migration to new cloud-based application (BP People-finder) for BP to provide enhanced corporate search facilities on a robust and reliable platform, projects won contracts to migrate the whole app suite of BP onto HCP platform.

BCSG’s client (Deutsche Bank) required a major implementation of a cloud-based Digital Applications Platform (SaaS/PaaS) across Europe. Employed as Agile Project Manager to lead delivery. Developed plan; coordinated activities across 12 cross-functional workstreams; set priorities and milestones for the Scrum team; managed change requests and stakeholder challenges; and implemented. Successfully set up a new €1.5m platform across 4 countries, improving business capabilities.
