The Linde group is a world leading supplier of industrial, process and speciality gases and is
one of the most profitable engineering companies. Their largest division, Gases, has four
operating segments and are implementing SAP program in Europe.
As a SAP EWM consultant, engaged on template implementation for Linde Gas division.
Involved in blue printing of SAP EWM implementation for a warehouse in Switzerland, responsible
for global template design and build. Contributions include:
* Participating in workshops to finalize business blueprint in logistics EWM processes.
* Completion of design documents such as business blue print, process flows & prototyping
* Configurations to set up Integration of SAP EWM with ECC (qRFC/RFC communications, build of
Core Interface -CIF for data replication to EWM and related configurations in the system)
* Configuration to set up EWM processes in Outbound processes, Delivery type /item type
configuration, interfaces set up, internal warehouse processes, QIE integration.
* Delivered Functional specifications for development objects related to batch management, CIF
for managing classification data and product exclusions.
* Working on developing test script and test script execution.
* Support cut over, go-live and stabilization
* POC for MFS integration for conveyor and ASRS system
Set up of master data configuration such as PLC interface types / PLC, communication channels,
communication points, Interface types,
conveyor segments, conveyor segment groups, queues for MFS, resource type for MFS
Configured layout-oriented storage process control for MFS
Setting up PLC-EWM exceptions
Setting up of MFS actions and telegram structure
Defining queue and queue determination for MFS resource

GSK is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, developing and
supplying medicines to improve patients' quality of life. They implemented a global SAP program
for their Pharmaceutical and Consumer products across Europe and America's.
As a SAP lead consultant in logistics, engaged on large programme of SAP R/3 implementation in
GSK consumer business to deploy SAP logistics solution in multi market warehouses in North West
European Region. This required integrating SAP system with Non SAP 3rd party logistics systems
with ALE / IDOC communications thru' middleware. The scope included understanding consumer
business processes, designing the interfaces between SAP and non-SAP system using EDI,
analysing process gaps to see fitment of template solution and support enhancements to the
existing template. The contributions include designing and building warehouse and distribution
interfaces with 3rd party warehouse management / logistics systems using EDI, baseline
configuration in logistics execution area. Role included other deliverable such as :
* Conducting workshops and discussions with GSK consumer business stake holders to
understand / gather business requirements, analyse gaps, proto typing and demo of the
solution, workshops to walk thru' on the template solution.
* Led the functional team members to guide thru' the gap document and work thru' completion
of design and build of the solution that included configuration and development of
interfaces to external system as a part of localisation and unit testing of the solution.
* Working with GSK integration team and 3PL project team to prepare project plan with mile
stones and deliverables to close Interfaces design build and testing through development
and quality landscape. As a part of the team, involved in completing the functional
mapping of the interfaces.
* Managing transports across the landscape to ensure the development changes are handled
with minimal risk and impact and within time. Guiding and mentoring on the design and
processes to the test team to effectively carry out integration testing.
* Participating in test scrip preparation and execution.
Successfully delivered production technical cutover (completion of build, moving these changes
to productions), business cut over and successful go live with no disruption.
