Project history
Designed, built, and continues to host infrastructure for a distributed healthcare monitoring platform. Runs on Proxmox with LXC containers for frontend, backend, and database services behind a Mikrotik RB5009. Fronted with Cloudflare and Nginx reverse proxy, internal access over WireGuard. Built GitHub Actions pipelines for build, validation, and deployment. Co-wrote the REST API in C# on ASP.NET 8.0.
Supporting hybrid Windows and Linux production estates across multiple datacentres on vSphere and Nutanix with mirrored DR infrastructure, including PCI-DSS scoped database instances. Root-cause troubleshooting of payment file integration failures, rebuilding semi-automated client onboarding processes, investigating Linux-side faults across SMTP relays and Puppet-managed hosts, operating load balancing tiers, running SQL failovers, producing PCI-DSS audit evidence, and scripting to open access for other teams via GPO and AD changes.
Ran on-site IT and infrastructure for a multi-building corporate site including floor-level server rooms, Fortinet, Cisco and Aruba network equipment, access card systems, CCTV, and IT inventory. Provided technical solutions for network changes, relocated and rebuilt rack infrastructure, and participated in technical interviews for infrastructure engineering candidates.
