Test Automation Engineer

I am a Quality Assurance professional with extensive hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing across complex enterprise environments, with a strong focus on BSS/OSS systems in the telecommunications sector. My career has been built on a foundation of precision, critical thinking, and a relentless drive for quality—skills that have enabled me to deliver consistent value in fast-paced Agile teams and large-scale system integration projects.

Most notably, I have been deeply involved in a multi-year BSS/OSS migration program for leading telecom providers in Norway and Sweden. In this role, I specialized in validating the full lifecycle of B2B datacom service orders—from catalog design and order management to orchestration and provisioning—across systems like Ericsson Order Care, Ericsson Catalog Manager, and Ericsson Adaptive Inventory. My day-to-day responsibilities included analyzing technical specifications, creating comprehensive test plans, and executing test cases to ensure functional accuracy, system integrity, and seamless integration across multiple layers.

Throughout the project, I worked as part of a distributed, cross-cultural team, collaborating across different time zones and cultures. This environment helped me refine not only my communication and coordination skills but also my ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within diverse teams. I’ve consistently demonstrated the ability to quickly understand highly complex system architectures and data flows, even when documentation was limited or evolving.

I bring strong expertise in integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and API testing, with a clear understanding of modern protocols (HTTP/HTTPS), REST/SOAP services. Tools like Robot Framework, Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, and Robot Framework have been core to my workflow. I’ve also written and maintained Python and Bash scripts to automate repetitive tasks and validate backend processes.

My proficiency with SQL allows me to confidently perform backend verification and database testing, ensuring that data flows and transformations are accurate and meet business requirements. I’ve routinely queried and validated large datasets to support regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

I work fluently within Agile (Scrum) environments, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders. I use Jira extensively for backlog management and defect tracking, often complemented by Xray for structured test case documentation and execution. I’m also experienced with GitHub for version control of automated tests and GitHub Actions pipelines for supporting continuous integration and automated test execution.
